I’m from north of Dallas (not far from the OK border) ~ in fact, one of my grandsons is graduating OU in a few weeks, and have another one graduating Arkansas in May too. Great news is they both have jobs lined up in their field, so that’s good! I can never find where the theme of the week is, so just post what I’ve posted for my daily food page (National food days primarily), and since I just sold baked goods at a local mini market (where they expect my biscotti), there will be a new biscotti and giant cookie recipe each week too. I love doing unusual and unexpected flavors and found out that the bigger the cookies with as much “stuff” I can put on top (ala Crumbl), the better they sell! * Catch y’all again next week!

Thank you for sharing! Our youngest graduated from OU (a few years ago) and I remember thinking the same thing – I’m glad and excited she has a job already lined up in her field! In today’s world, that could be a bit harder, so hip hip for for both grandkids! I’m sure y’all are super excited for them. Even though I’m not much of a baker, I enjoy seeing what you and others create. I bet your mini market is fabulous. I’d love being out and talking to people. And of course I’d have to wear an apron with pockets. That’s always my favorite part. 😉

It is so refreshing to read a post focused on celebration rather than complaints, and I’d love to share that we just got the news of a new grandbaby on the way!
