Spread the love

Happy Weekend friends!  It’s time for Farmhouse Friday 266.  Y’all, we got 10 minutes of rain this week and felt so lucky!  Like we were riding a gravy train with biscuit wheels!  Some of us had forgotten what it smelled like.  If you have, it’s like dirt, pollution and ambrosia all at once.  It’s nice.

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 266!

I know some of you love the summer sun.  For those that don’t… I shared 5 of my favorite fall looks for the wondrous season.  So if you’re like me and crave the cooler weather, beautiful colors and wearing sweaters, check out this post.  If you aren’t ready for autumn quite yet, it’s okay, you’ll get there.

Glad you got a bit of rain. We’ve had several, at least enough to get our grass growing again. Loved your Fall inspiration post this week. Have a great weekend, and thanks for having us over!

The trees and grass in some places around us look so sad and crispy. Having a flood years ago then a drought for a couple of years after that is what put the trees in distress at the farmhouse. We ended up losing several of them. The 2, 300 year old trees were the worst. Hoping this crazy weather isn’t doing the same to the others. 🙁 Hope you have a wonderful weekend and thanks for linking up.

I just found you and share your love for shabby and chippy. Saw you had made some little houses and would love to make some. Are they clay?

    • October 12, 2022 / 8:59 am

Yay Evelyn, I’m so glad you found me! The little houses are clay. I made them in a pottery class but I know you could do the same thing with the modeling clay found at craft stores. I actually think they’d look way better that mine! Hope you have a wonderful week.
