Happy August Already Friends! Are you ready for Farmhouse Friday 265? It’s still hot here but I’ve decided to look on the bright side. August is closer to September which is my birthday month, our 30th wedding anniversary and fall! Y’all, it’s almost fall! LOL. Is that a bit much? I know some of you (like my Canada friends) just started getting warmer and aren’t looking forward to the cool weather again. For you, I’m sorry but for us – woo hoo, bring it on!

How my junkyard table turned out with just oven cleaner!
This week was a lot of fun for me. I tried the new way of stripping stain from wood furniture and it was so much easier than I expected. Usually when I attempt a DIY it’s a total flop, full of frustration and it might include throwing something across the yard or at least in the trash. But for once, it was awesome! Check it out here!
