FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 264

Spread the love

Hey hey hey!  It’s time for Farmhouse Friday 264!  A friend mentioned that school starts up in a couple of weeks.  She’s a teacher so she’ll be going back in a week.  Seems like the summer has gone by quickly.  Having adult kids you kinda forget about that stuff.  Plus, I haven’t been shopping inside a store in a while so I haven’t seen the aisles of school supplies.  I miss that.  Shopping for school supplies was a favorite!  Did you love it too?

We had another Pinterest Challenge this month.  But instead of decorating ideas we shared peach recipes!  I started off with a 2 ingredient Peach Sherbet.  By the time I got to the peach brie recipe (second one) I had to stop and have a snack before moving on to the others.  ๐Ÿ˜‰  They all look and sound scrumdiliumptious so check them out.

The features this week from Farmhouse Friday 263 remind me of summer and I bet you find great inspiration like I did.

As a teacher, I always loved shopping for school supplies. Then I became a Literacy Specialist and it was even better – I shopped for my trainings/workshops and got to use the school credit card for the supplies! SO much better! Thanks for hosting and enjoy the rest of summer!

Oh my word – the school credit card?! Yes please! I’d be in heaven! I still have an extra large box of crayons with the built-in sharpener plus all the markers, colored pencils, etc. I saw one new box the other day but not until after checking out or I would have gotten them too. They were called skin tones! I can hardly wait to get them! Wish they made the old timey coloring books. I think they were manila paper? Love those!

Cindy, thanks so much for featuring my little fat boy (Augustine) and garden. I’ve updated my post with a link back to today’s features. Humbled to be among them! And no, I actually hated shopping for school supplies, lol. We were in WalMart yesterday and the entire store has been rearranged, not just the normal back-to-school, up front shopping. I told my husband it was a good exercise for Alzheimer’s prevention.
Happy FriYay. Hope your weekend is a good one.
