Happy Fall Y’all! Thank you for stopping by Farmhouse Friday 461. In the social media world, I know you could be in a lot of places, and you chose to be here! It means a lot.
My 60th birthday party was last Saturday, and oh my golly, I had so much fun! We hired a casino company to set up tables and handle the dealing and teaching. They gave us a $1K chip to get us started.
I purchased 16 different prizes for friends to bid on at the end of the night. All of the gifts were things that I liked, or that represented me in some way. Things like fall dishes, fall drinking glasses, a board game, honey from Navasota (where our farmhouse is located), a fabulous fall apron, etc. It was hilarious watching people bid $15K on a candle.
Besides the smiles and laughter, my Soul Sista’s each wore earrings that were of my face! It was the photo from the invitation I had made. They were so stinkin’ cute! I was so cute. LOL!
