Hello my beautiful friends!  It’s Pinterest Challenge Day and today we’re talking peach recipes!  I made a delicious super easy summer dessert – 2 ingredient peach sherbet.  During the summer I can find peaches everywhere and since it’s hotter than blue blazes outside this dessert is perfect.  Did you hop over from DIY Beautify?  Thank you and welcome!  I love everything Cindy does and her dessert with the added almonds looks scrumdiliumptious!

Our inspiration photo comes from Organic Facts.  Even if you don’t like peaches, these look amazing.  I love the color and textures.  If you’ve read my blog at all in the last month or two, you know I’m obsessed with the weather.  It’s unusually hot this year and since our electric company is asking us to conserve energy, I’m doing my part by not turning on the oven.  LOL.  I know, such a sacrifice.

Have you heard of sherbet?  The difference between sherbet and sorbet is that sherbet has dairy of some kind and sorbet contains no dairy.  Both are lighter than ice cream and has more of a soft grainy texture.

Making this peach sherbet recipe can’t get any easier.  If you have a blender, peaches and a can of condensed milk, you can do this.  It takes 5 minutes to throw together and it can be put in the freezer overnight or you can eat it right after blending if you want a soft serve texture.  Both ways are delicious.

While I was making the sherbet, I thought of a few other toppings to go along with it.  The one above has shaved coconut on top.  I thought this was yummy but no one else in my family likes coconut.  Fine.  Their loss.  More for me!

We hosted a party a couple of days ago and I had some leftover toasted pecans from the chicken salad.  Y’all, this was so good!  I loved the added crunch.  This one might have been my favorite little extra.

After the party we also had leftover macarons.  So plopping one of those inside the cup was a must.  It’s so cute and don’t you think it makes a fun party dessert?  I’d feel so special if this were handed to me.

Recipe for  delicious super easy summer dessert – 2 ingredient Peach Sherbet!

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups of frozen sliced peaches (You can use fresh just freeze them after slicing)
  • 1 – 14 ounce can of condensed milk

Instructions:

  • Put the frozen peaches and condensed milk in a high speed blender.
  • Blend them together about 2 minutes or until the mixture is smooth.
  • Transfer to a freezer safe container and cover with plastic wrap.
  • Freeze overnight.
  • Scoop and enjoy.  Add toppings if you’d like.

This 2 ingredient recipe is one of those desserts you can make in flash and in many different flavors.  Try it with strawberries or pineapples or mixed berries or mango.  I’m listing all of the frozen bags of fruit I saw in the grocery store.  I think I’ll grab strawberries next!  Let me know what you think!

I’ve done 2 other recipes with fruit.  Click here and then here to see those.  They are both simple no-bake recipes!

Next in line for peach recipes is Our Southern Home!  FYI, you might want to have a bite to eat first.  Just sayin.  ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh yuuuuummmmm! Why have i never known how easy sherbet was to make? My grampa was a huge fan and always had it in the freezer! My Nana’s name was Bertha (but her nickname was Bert), and I always thought it was hilarious as a kid when she would ask if he wanted sherbet and he said “Sure, Bert!” True Story! Your variations sound yummy, I love the coconut idea too! Pinned.

    • July 26, 2022 / 10:31 am

LOL – sure, Bert! That is funny. Hope you make some and think of your sweet Nana and grampa.

    • July 26, 2022 / 10:37 am

It is ridiculous how hot it is but the humidity is what makes it stupid hot. As much as our microwave is being used, I bet it’s taken years off of it’s life. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Hope you try it. I know you’ll love how easy it is to make.

  8. July 26, 2022 / 9:13 am

Me too Rachel. When deciding on a recipe I look at the ingredients first. If it’s a long list, I flip the page. LOL. My second thought is always the clean up. I’m lazy!

    • July 28, 2022 / 11:51 am

Well that depends if you’re an ice cream hound like the mister. But if you’re a normal ice cream eater I bet you could get six servings out of it. It filled up a loaf pan.

Hope your summer is going well despite the wicked heat,
