5 informative and beautiful farmhouse blogs worth following

Spread the love

Howdy Friends!  How’s August so far?  We are supposed to get a cool front today or tomorrow.  That means maybe I’ll poke my head out of the house.  Until then, I’ll stay inside, choose happy and write a blog post.  Every now and then I look at the ridiculous amount of emails I receive then reevaluate and purge.  Several of those are blogs.  As I was reassessing, I realized a lot of them no longer appeal to me.  Some of it is because they’ve either moved homes and changed styles or I’ve changed and no longer have in interest in what they are blogging about.  I kept these 5 informative and beautiful farmhouse blogs worth following though.  Maybe they’re new to you and you’ll like them too?

5 Informative and Beautiful Farmhouse Blogs Worth Following

open shelving in farmhouse kitchenItty Bitty Farmhouse

These blogs are in no particular order but first up is Itty Bitty Farmhouse.  Jessica has great style which has always inspired me.  I love her blog because she uses vintage items in her decor, has open shelving in her kitchen that I like to gain insight from and likes to stack plates and stuff in her tablescapes.  Kinda like me so yep, I like her!

Next is Robyn’s French Nest.  She has such a cozy and unique style.  The way she decorates is sometimes coastal and sometimes pure vintage but always fun.  Robyn is great at budget decorating and explaining how to get the look.  Plus her treasures always make me smile.  Like putting a toilet sign in a dining hutch!  LOL, she’s brave!  Correction!  One of my sweet readers told me the sign wasn’t toilet at all.  The words To Let actually mean For Rent!  If y’all could hear me, you’d hear a burst of super loud laughter.  All this time I thought it was toilet.  Makes more sense now that I read it better.  LOLOLOL!

Michele from Vintage Home is a Texas girl after my own heart.  She loves Jesus, treasure hunting and repurposing just like me!  I think she does it way better which is why I love her blog.  Michele mixes classic antiques with chippy pieces and thinks outside the box.  Recently, she used a vintage hay fork to separate plates in a fabulous summer tablescape!  I would have never thought to do that but adore the idea.

Cami over at Tidbits is a real do-it-yourselfer.  She amazes me with how organized and creative she is.  Between homeschooling her kiddos, gardening, planning meals for weeks and months at a time, diy-ing and having great taste in decorating, she makes me all kinds of tired but it’s fun seeing what’s been keeping her busy.  Plus, of course I’m going to love a girl who uses a mantel for a headboard!

Last but not least is Jenn from Down Shiloh Road I love her tag line – A little dirt don’t hurt.  Her and her family live on a hobby farm.  She likes to collect vintage goodies, shares a few recipes now and then, has a porch which gives me great ideas for ours and make things like this table top pie safe!  So cute.

It was fun and I totally agree. Those bloggers make me want to be a better decorator and person. Especially Cami. How does she do all she does?! Well, you should know. You do a ton too!
