Friends, can you believe it’s almost 2020?!  I cannot but I’m excited to see what this new decade brings.  As I was thinking back on this last year, I looked up the top blog posts and found it interesting to see what y’all liked the most.  Let me show you.  Here are the 5 most popular decorating posts of 2019.

The 5 Most Popular Decorating Posts of 2019

#1 – Our Neutral Farmhouse Christmas Living Room

Each of the 5 popular posts were very close in ratings but the most popular of 2019 was just posted very recently.  I shouldn’t be surprised by this.  I loved it too.  The white and green color scheme turned out to be so peaceful and we enjoyed every minute in there.

#2 – How I Use Greenery Balls In My Decor

If you want a recap of that post, you’ll see 20 different bloggers all having a green themed post.  It was a fun blog hop hosted by Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home.  Hops are great for seeing a lot of inspiration all in one place.

#3 – A Back Porch Refresh

We seriously needed a refresh on our back porch last summer at the house in Highland Village.  We need one at the farmhouse too but the city house came first.  It had been overrun with a rabbit and was screaming for some tender loving care.  Even though we’ve changed the look once again we still enjoy it.  This spring I think we are going to do a little landscaping too.

#4 – Spring Decorating When You Don’t Plan It And A Few Tips

I think this one was a favorite of mine.  Probably because I used pink for the first time and didn’t hear a word about it from the Mister!  Woo hoo!  I think I’ll see what I can get away with this year as well.  I can never get enough pink!

#5 – An Almost Refreshed Spring Porch

Last but not least was the spring porch at the farmhouse in Navasota.  Honestly, I never grow weary of decorating the farmhouse porch.  I do tire of sweeping it and wiping the furniture down but that’s farm life or just porch sitting life I suppose.  You’ll also see last year it was all about the pink just like in the post above.  🙂

I know, right. It seems like we were all wondering about Y2K just last year. Where does the time go? Thank you Cindy for always commenting. Makes my day.

Of course i love almost anything you do at the farm, but i can’t wait to see what you do with your back yard. I will enjoy going back over the the most popular posts for 2019, those are always fun. Have a Happy New Year!!

Uh Oh Marlene. Now I feel a little pressure building with landscaping the back yard! Since you’ve been a here a while, you know we don’t always get around to doing the things we’d like to do. Somehow life gets in the way or we just plain forget. Let’s hope 2020 brings new determination. And painting the rest of those dang gold walls would be nice. Mercy me.

Yep, pink is my jam Jemma! If I lived alone, I’d have a pink velvet sofa and love it forever. Miss you at our luncheons and shopping excursions but I know your heart is in Colorado now. Let us know if you ever come visit TX again!
