you linkWell, hello there.  How have you been?  Thank you for being here and wanting to check out Farmhouse Friday 456. I hope you find something interesting, inspiring, and inviting!  Our bloggers work hard on their blogs and posts, so show them some love by popping over to comment on their posts.  It would make their day just like it does mine!

I had every intention of sitting down and writing another post.  A post with ways to style something fun.  But instead, I had to start transitioning our home to fall!  It has taken longer than usual.  With the temps hovering around 100 degrees each day, my motivation was next to nothing. 

Ending on a good note, next week is a Design Challenge (formerly called Pinterest Challenge), then the week after that I’m joining a blog hop called Four Seasons with hosts MaryJo at Masterpieces of My Life and Susan at  From Bay to Beach.  I hope you’ll join us!

Okay, let’s get to why you’re here. The theme for next week will be COMFORT FOOD!  I’m doing my darndest to get myself out of my 106-degree head and into my fall fantasies.  🙂  Looking forward to seeing those recipes!

MaryJo from Masterpieces of My Life shows several ways to decorate with fall leaves.  And you can find them right outside!  Now that’s what I call a great idea!

I love this tablecloth and all the other pumpkin table ideas from Beth at Whispers of the Heart.  I’m always amazed at her tablescapes.  Where does she put it all?!  

Sunflowers are perfect for fall decor, don’t you think?  It can’t be all pumpkins and gourds!  Pop over and see how Kippi from Kippi At Home created this beautiful hanging basket.  Your neighbors will appreciate it!  

I always love how Penny stays true to herself and her home vibe.  Autumn colors aren’t just warm; they can be coastal too!  Check out the rest of Penny’s decor at Penny’s Treasures.  It will put a smile on your face.
