FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 424 PARTY GUIDELINES:

  • Your style does not have to be farmhouse, nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We’d like to see linkups like – Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
  • It doesn’t matter how old your post is; please link your posts only once.
  • The party runs from 6 AM CST on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM CST on Monday.
  • We aren’t requiring a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks!  That’s mighty nice of you.
  • A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog, so please don’t post and run.  Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
  • By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across social media accounts, which includes the Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest
  • When linking to this party, you are permitting us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc., with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post is featured.

We are heading to my sister’s, as she has the largest house for our ever-growing family. Nika and I will be making a smaller, roasted turkey with all the stuffing (another family fave, and my fave side dish), and I’ll be making a cream cheese pie that is a family fave. I’ll make an extra one for take to our Hobby Lobby potluck, as well. Whew! What about you? Thanks for hosting, Cindy! I hope you link-up your tour at TTA! I would love to do a tour party!

Your plan sounds lovely! For me, the usual is hosting here. We have from 10 – 15 people each year. This year we have 11 and I’m going to try and cram us all in at one table! :0 We’ll see.
I’ll be making a couple of pies and for sure two different potato dishes to accommodate different palates and because I’m ridiculous. I like everyone to be happy. I’ll make sure and link up the tour. Happy Thanksgiving Julie!

Thank you MaryJo. It’s funny how I gripe about dragging it all out but enjoy the few weeks we have it up. Now I’m looking for reasons to have parties! 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving week! We are hosting my FIL for a couple weeks, so nice as none of our kids will make it home this year. Mr DIY will smoke a turkey breast and ham. I will do the sides and we have an apple torte from Aldi for dessert. Hope you enjoy a great week with family and friends!

    • November 24, 2025 / 11:13 am

Aww, I’m sure your FIL appreciates it as much as y’all enjoy hosting him. And kudos to you! I need to just go buy a couple of desserts instead of baking! Happy Thanksgiving!
