FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 335

Spread the love

Woohoo!  It’s time for Farmhouse Friday 335, time for the weekend, and time to get our spring on!  Are you ready?  I am so ready!

I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day.  As I sit here and type this, I’m looking at some gorgeous pink roses that were a total surprise.  Last year, I got dinner at my favorite steak place.  The year before that nothing.  3 years ago some yellow and orange flowers which are my least favorite colors in the entire world.  The year before that, a hug.  Do you see a pattern?

Thankfully, I’m low maintenance and not sentimental at all.  But what’s the guy to do when I buy myself flowers all the time, and we eat out a lot.  He finally stopped buying cards when he realized I put them in the recycling bin.  In his defense though, he knows my love language is Acts of Service so it makes my day when he empties the dishwasher.  😉

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 335!

Okay, let’s get to the features this week from Farmhouse Friday 334.

shadow box with sewing suppliesI’m not a crafter or do much sewing but thought this was so cute!  Perfect for wall decor in a sewing room or a gift for your favorite seamstress.  It’s the pattern paper backing that has me grinning.  See how Julie from Sum of Their Stories made it so you can make one too.

plants stacked on books, plant painting with black frame layered in front of a water color printMichelle at Thistle Key Lane shows off her beautifully decorated spring mantel.  The way she layers her handmade pieces makes this a show stopper.  Check it out!

white bowl with orzo soup and a gray and white checked cloth sitting beside the bowlI love a soup and when it’s colorful like this, it’s even better!  Pin Judy’s yumminess at Recipes Simple.  You’re going to love the flavors!

pink, blue and green egg shaped dishes Rachel from The Ponds Farmhouse shares just how she made this Pottery Barn dupe.  I love how customizable they are and so stinkin’ cute.  Totally pin worthy!

Oh my goodness, those plates Rachel made are so darn cute! I need more STUFF, don’t you think?? As if what I’ve collected of late (#43) isn’t enough to cover every holiday, past, present and future! I always say, it’s not about need! Thanks for sharing the love, CIndy. Have a great weekend. I’ll be spending time with Jacqueline and Mickey (Disney on Ice) this weekend.

Aww I miss taking our kids to those shows. I remember when we saw Barney Live. I thought they were going to come undone that day. Good times, good times. Have fun and thanks for linking up. And I think your saying is a good one – It’s not about need! Exactly! 😉
