FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 334

Spread the love

Howdy friends and welcome to Farmhouse Friday 334!  This week it’s been like spring around here and the Mister has been out of town so I’ve been working my man hands to the bone!  Despite being sore all over it feels so good!  Y’all would not believe the state of the baseboards in the kitchen.  They aren’t invisible so I obviously chose to ignore them.  Eew.  I keep thinking that when spring gets here, I’ll be ahead.  But I’m making any bets.  I have a feeling the will get in the mud again and decide to shake just as he comes in the back door (insert rolling eyes).

Anyway, how have you been?!  It’s been only a week since the last link party but it feels like a month.  Maybe this is how accomplished feels?  lol.

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 334!

You are a good friend.

You are funny and kind.

Will you say yes

And be my Valentine?

Please let me know what you’ve been up to in the comments.  I truly enjoy hearing about your days.  Okay, let’s get to the lovely features this week.

wooden heart with the word LOVE on it, white tissues flowers and small hearts painted across the bottom Steph Creates shared a fun and easy project.  I think even the littles would enjoy making one of these.  And you gotta love budget friendly!  Check it out.  It’s worth pinning.

RED FRAME WITH VINTAGE VALENTINE AND LACE INSIDELook how this repurposed photo frame turned out!  Ann from The Apple Street Cottage shows just how she did it.  Love the new look and the vintage card inside.  So fun!

heart shaped cake inside a pound cakeI think this hidden heart Valentine’s Day cake is the cutest, most doable cake for the big day.  Hop over and check out how Jen at Cincy Shopper made it.  You’re going to want to try this!

You too Shelley. I’m sure we’ll get a freak freeze again soon. Then sadly, all the new people from other states and neighbors that are planting things are going to regret it. We like to call ourselves smart but in actuality I think it’s laziness. lol. Happy Valentine’s Day

I hope to come across a swing frame one of these days. It was darling and the red paint was genius. Happy Friday Ann!

Thanks for having us over, Cindy. I’ve got to catch up with the warmer weather. I have finches trying to nest in my Christmas door basket!

    • February 9, 2024 / 10:11 am

LOL Debra! I am always so sad when that happens. I feel mean because they work so hard making a nest/little home for themselves. At our last house it had a permanent iron basket hanging on the porch and each year we had a nest in it with babies. The kids loved adding boiled eggs (seems carnivorous now) and water out there. The babies gobbled it up. We thought some were so fat and happy they’d never leave the nest or be to fat to fly! 😉 Happy Valentine’s Day
