Spread the love

Welcome friends to Farmhouse Friday 317!  I love this time of the week and today I’m especially happy.  Not only has it been a fabulous beginning to my birthday month, but the weather has been in the 80’s!  And you know I’m obsessed with the weather.  ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you missed my post on decorating the farmhouse dining room for fall, click below the photo to see it.  It’s a week-long tour with some fabulous autumn ideas.  And now that the weather is nice, I’m going to start on the outside this weekend.  Fingers crossed.  Something typically changes my plans.

I hope y’all have had a great week and are finding that decorating for fall isn’t a chore but is a soothing way to spend a day or two or three.  ๐Ÿ™‚  I just told someone that I could decorate or rearrange furniture every single day and be happy.  Do you feel that way or am I weird?  I couldn’t shop all day.  That’s not fun to me.  But I do love a place that sells new and old stuff.  Stuff = decor.

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 317!

I decided this week that since we had so many delightful recipes that I’d feature some of the deliciousness.  I am seriously in awe of our bakers and cooks out there.  Seriously.

pumpkinpie cookies with a little leaf on topY’all, just look at these pumpkin pie cookies from Fat Dad Foodie!  Love the added leaf detail and I know they’ll be delicious!

spice barkIt’s pumpkin spice time!  My family loves bark candy so I’m excited to surprise them with this candy from Premeditated Leftovers.  It’s going to be a hit for sure!

pumpkin cookiesAs soon as I saw these, I knew I’d be pinning them.  It’s hard to find good butterscotch anything so these oatmeal butterscotch cookies from Cincy Shopper are on my list to bake asap!

focaccia bread with flowersI don’t know whether to call this art or bread.  It looks almost too good to eat!  The recipe for this amazing Focaccia Bread is from Sugar Geek Recipes but shared by Weddings Soiree Blog.  Definitely something I kneed to practice.  Get it?  Kneed.  ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Cindy,
I hate when some people will comment about all the “work” that I do when changing over my Seasonal decor…I never ever look at it as work but rather I look at it as getting to “play’!!
Thanks so much for hosting this lovely party each and every week!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links and choosing Features!!! Thank You!! I hope you are having a great week!!
    Hugs,
    Deb

I agree! It’s not work. It’s sometimes fun, sometimes relaxing, sometimes exercise, sometimes all of it together! I feel sorry for the people that don’t have a hobby or job they don’t love doing. We are the lucky ones Debbie. Thank YOU for always visiting. Hope your weekend is awesome and full of exactly what you want to be doing.

Cindy, what a pretty roundup of fall foods. That focaccia is a true work of art. I could eat that entire thing, I love bread so much, and her choice of optional toppings all sound good to me (pinned!). And maybe we don’t knead to make the dough – can’t we just shortcut it with Rhodes dough? ๐Ÿ˜‰
You’re starting on your outdoors and I’m just now starting on my indoor fall decor. I’ve been super busy with Happy Thanksmas at the antique mall the past few weeks (sharing), while still watering annuals. It’s a crazy time of year. Thanks for the break with your party. Enjoy your weekend.

I keep seeing people use Rhodes dough on TikTok but always forget about it. I need to put that on my grocery list so I’ll stop forgetting. Looking forward to see your booth. I used to have a booth and thought it was fun switching to the holidays early. By the time I got rid of the booth I was over it. Then I started blogging (insert rolling eyes). The family is used to it by now but still thinks it’s strange having Thanksgiving dinner being surrounded by Christmas decor. Guess we gotta do what we gotta do?! Thanks Rita, always enjoy your comments.

Such yummy recipes you have featured! I’m a bit late to the party. Was in the ER until late last night with Mom… She has shingles. ๐Ÿ™ Thanks for hosting each week!
