FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 289

Spread the love

Happy unofficial spring my friends!  Right now it’s 70 degrees, the back door is open and the birds are either having a pep rally or celebrating spirit days.  One side of the yard is chirping “we’ve got spirit, yes we do.  We’ve got spirit how ’bout you?!”  Then the other side replies even louder!  It’s crazy and I should be taking a video but instead, I’m just smiling and typing.  But in case you are still covered in snow, don’t fret, green grass and new leaves are on the horizon!  So in anticipation of warmer days, it’s time for Farmhouse Friday 289!

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 289!

If you missed the Pinterest Challenge this week.  We shared spring lantern ideas.  There were 16 of us and each blog took the same inspiration photo and changed it up to suit our own style.  Check it out!

I’d take 40 – 50 degrees if it came with sunshine. It’s the clouds I don’t like. Happy Friday!

We have bluebirds this year and I’m soooooo excited. Raining and cool up here, but at least it’s not snow and ice. Thanks so much for having us over, Cindy. Have a wonderful weekend!!

    • March 3, 2023 / 10:21 pm

Aww, I love that you have bluebirds. We get a lot of those and cardinals. I think it’s the food I provide. I need to get a third feeder though. We’ve noticed baby doves landing on the feeder and purposely knocking the food down to the ground for mom and dad. The parents are too big and fat to sit on the edge of the feeder which means I will get them another feeder. Poor little chubby things. We cannot have that! Thanks Debra. Happy Weekend!

Well spring is here in N Georgia. Along with the crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths and redbud trees, we have more rain, thunderstorms and a tornado watch. Sigh…. Thanks for hosting!

How wonderful Sandra! We had 85 mile an hour winds yesterday. Lots of broken branches plus a full size trampoline go up over the back fence and land about 3 houses down!!! It was crazy. Stay safe.
