It’s Fri-Yay and time for Farmhouse Friday 255 friends. I was going to go on with “F” words in that first sentence but I refrained which reminded me of my childhood. I heard the word refrain all the time when I was little. Cindy, refrain yourself from so much handwashing. Cynthia, refrain from making that your business. Cindy, refrain from helping everyone else. Cynthia, refrain and control yourself. Did you get that? Geez. It’s burned into my brain.
I wouldn’t say I was difficult but I was never one to stay in the shadow of my mama’s apron. All that said and all that refraining must have done some good since I think I turned out alright.
