A Few Last Minute Easter Ideas To Help This Weekend!

Spread the love

Hello my beautiful friends!  Are you ready for Easter?  Do you have a new Easter outfit or maybe a new Easter mask?  LOL.  Is that even a thing – an Easter mask?!  Our church will be open but we are not going to go in person this year either.  Remember last year we didn’t have a choice.  This year it’s open but I think it will be the busiest most crowded day of 2021 and the way I see it, that’s a lot of germs floating around.  Am I being ridiculous?  Have any advice for me?  I’m strong enough to hear your comments below.

A Few Last Minute Easter Ideas To Help This Weekend!

Now that I got that off my chest, does anyone need a few last minute Easter ideas to help this weekend?  I’ve rounded up some of my favorite posts so whether or not you’re going to church, over to a different house or staying home, your Easter can be fun-filled, beautiful and full of the wonderful celebration of Christ’s resurrection and joy.

The first post is full of all day fun and ideas to make your Easter feel more special.  It has breakfast ideas, game/activity ideas, table setting ideas and even a prayer to help celebrate this most meaningful holiday.

I had a lot of fun with this next one.  It’s a DIY.  If you have an old bunny in your stash and you don’t like the finish or patina on it, paint it to look like a chocolate bunny!  This would be a quick project if you need one more simple vignette or if you’d like the kids to have another project to take home.

Do you still need an easy centerpiece with a little vintage goodness thrown in?  This one was so easy to make.  All I did was line up old jello molds then filled them with moss and eggs.  Can’t get much easier than that.  πŸ™‚  And they don’t necessarily need the moss.  You could also just use moss and no jello molds.  Easy peasy!

You could also use Mason or Ball jars with tinted water and simply add flowers to make a colorful and easy tablescape idea.  Let the kids in on this one as well.  You could use leftover egg dye for a rainbow of goodness.  This post even has a fun way to fold your napkins!  πŸ™‚

If you have fabulous weather take the Easter dinner outside and use this super easy table centerpiece idea plus paper plates and napkins.  You’ll want to use it over and over again, year to year.  Maybe it’s just me but I like easy.

How to Decorate a Store-Bought Cake

Y’all my friend CoCo over at The Crowned Goat has changed the way I think about being stressed over desserts!  Do you ever need more than one dessert for a large group but don’t have the time to bake anything?  This is your answer.  I’m totally doing this and compared to the way I bake and how mine turn out, this is going to be much much better!  Check it out by clicking on the title under the photo.

Well, there are a few last minute Easter ideas to help this weekend and I truly hope your Easter is marvelous, meaningful and memorable.  I know I’ll be celebrating with my family and wishing the day could last a bit longer.

Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross and resurrecting to save us all.  All of us, no exceptions.

Love the ideas. So glad Easter will be celebrated a little better this year. We are going to go to church, but I understand why you aren’t. I just want to celebrate what our Savior did for us.

Thank you Melinda. I went back and served on the Welcome Team for the first time and even though masks were required as you enter and leave (and in the section I sat in), there were so many people. I cannot imagine what it will be like on Easter?! Are y’all going to Dallas? Enjoy!

It is hard not going, but as you said there will be a bigger crowd. We also will not attend in person as the crowd does concern us. Better times are coming. Have a wonderful Easter!

Def going to church, I’m serving in the nursery this weekend. Love the ideas you shared, and that chocolate Easter bunny is amazing! Pinned!

    • March 31, 2021 / 3:58 pm

That is sweet of you to serve in the nursery. Momma’s and daddy’s need time away. Thankfully that is one place the Lord hasn’t said I need to serve. Did enough of that while we had our own young kids and I do not miss it. πŸ˜‰ Enjoy it. I know they appreciate you. Happy Easter!

I love seeing a lineup of your past hits! And they are beautiful. I always get a kick out of your chocolate Easter bunny, with no chocolate. I can’t wait to see you on Sunday. He has risen! πŸ™πŸ’š

He has risen indeed Marlene! I appreciate you saying He knows my heart. That’s what matters. Not my new outfit, the desserts I bake or the centerpiece on the table. He wants my heart and soul. Hope your day is wonderful friend. Happy Easter

Me too Michelle. I used to not like pastel colors. Must have been in my crazy days. Will you be seeing your mom on Sunday? Enjoy your Easter!

Love the chocolate bunny! And the easy, but very cute decor.
I’m still undecided about church…I’ve had both shots but it hasn’t been 2 weeks.
    God knows our hearts.
