A Quick Easter Table Part 1

Part 1 to the easy Easter Table from CountyRoad407.com
Spread the love

Easter is almost here and it’s always been my favorite holiday.  Why? Because we celebrate the resurrection of my Savior!  Because everything I believe stems from the moment He rose from the grave.  Because if it weren’t for that, my faith would be non-existent.   Plus I start wearing pastel clothes and white shoes.  No, you won’t catch me wearing white shoes before Easter or after labor day, no matter what “they” say.  I don’t know who “they” are but they don’t dictate my southern roots.  Just sayin.

So, in honor of Jesus, Easter bunnies, wild flowers and egg hunts, here is a quick Easter table Part 1!  Two parts because I want to show you the easy centerpiece and then later this week I’ll show you how our family really rolls.  😉

A Quick Easter Table Part 1

1. Start with a spring looking garland.  I chose a boxwood with deep greens.  You know I love greenery (real or fake) so this one from Hobby Lobby is perfect.  Your garland could already have flowers, birds or butterflies on it if that’s what floats your boat.  I want to use mine for different looks later on so I’m keeping them simple and separate.

2. If you want fast and easy, choose another garland like this yellow one.  I knew it would show up against the dark green boxwood garland.  Simply wrap it around the first garland.

3. All you have to do now is tuck in a few spring picks or maybe plastic or real eggs, or how about carrots?  Anything you have around would work.  I chose a string of speckled eggs

4. We have a plethora of weeds spring flowers in the yard so I simply plucked several and added them to jars.  Nothing fancy.

5. I bet if you’ve ever decorated for Easter you have a bunny, a cross, a bird, a lamb, something you can tuck into the gaps in the garland.  You don’t have too.  It looks pretty good without it.  But those blue bunnies look pretty cute too.

Well that’s it.  It seriously took 3 minutes to throw together.  For Part 2, I’ll have something even easier for your Easter table!

Dear Cindy, Your tablescape is lovely and the perfect way to welcome spring. You may be interested in reading up of the Celebration of Ostara https://www.thoughtco.com/all-about-ostara-the-spring-equinox-2562471. You will learn that all of your décor and traditions are actually based on the Ostara, Spring Equinox celebrations before Christ was born. Most Christian holidays and traditions are based on early Pagan traditions, and were melded together to ease the transitions for the Masses. Enjoy you holiday. Blessed Be.
