Farmhouse Friday Link Party #192

Spread the love

Hey Friends!  It feels like it’s been forever since we’ve chatted.  With this crazy winter storm weather we’ve had and the rolling power outages, I’ve been unable to spend much time on my laptop which means no blogging.  I’m sitting here hoping this post actually gets to you in a timely manner!  I think most of my other blogging friends spent their time organizing, cleaning, and crafting but I’ve spent most of my time being bored.  Grateful for a roof, a bed, a fireplace and candles though.  Enough of that, it’s time for Farmhouse Friday Link Party #192!

Before all the bad weather happened I did get one post out.  It was Wow Me On The Weekend With Wall Collages.  Lots of great ideas and how to do them the right way.  Check it out if you missed it.

Now let’s see…

LINK PARTY RULES:

  • Since the party is called Farmhouse Friday, we’d like to keep the party farmhouse themed. You don’t have to live in a farmhouse or have farmhouse as your main decor theme in order to share.  We love seeing farmhouse mixed in with other styles and it can be a DIY, decor inspiration or craft.
  • No food or recipe posts please.
  • We are flexible when it comes to defining “farmhouse” so if you are unsure of whether or not your post will fit in the party theme, go ahead and post it and if we feel it doesn’t fit, we’ll delete it – no hard feelings. 🙂
  • It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts only once.
  • The party runs from 6 AM, PST/8 AM, CST on Friday and ends at noon, PST/2 PM, CST on Monday.
  • You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, we’d greatly appreciate it!
  • A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog and be inspired.  Please don’t post and run.  Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
  • By linking up to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features or roundups.  We’ll make sure to link back to your post and/or this party on the week it was featured.

Bloggers post throughout the day so come back later today or this weekend to see more farmhouse style inspiration.  And don’t forget to PIN it!

NOW LET’S HAVE SOME PARTY FUN!

I hope you are doing okay there in Texas, Cindy. Gosh, you guys have been hit hard. We’ve been watching the news coverage here in Canada. Stay warm, stay safe, and praying this ends for you all soon.

Girl this weather is killing me! I had a video due on Wednesday and I was scrambling to edit, save and schedule it before we lost power. First world problems, I know! lol! Compared to everyone else with no power, heat etc. I feel very fortunate for sure. Praying for all in Texas and other states that aren’t as fortunate. Can’t wait to sit down and look at all of the wonderful posts on this Link party. Thanks for sharing all things good!

I hear you Tammy and feel your first-world-pains, believe me. Even with all of this, we have it good. Thanks for hopping over. Stay warm!

Thanks so much Debra. I’ve felt cut off from the world this week and forget other people get news. I so glad I could get the party out! Seriously, so grateful! I’ve missed blogging and chatting with friends. Today is a new day and with sunshine! Woo hoo!

So thankful you and your family are safe Cindy! This winter weather storm has been nothing like I’ve ever seen and I know you guys have been right in the middle of it all. Sending you lots of hugs and prayers that things ease up soon. Hang in there! Hugs, CoCo

I can’t remember the last time we’ve had weather like this. And my memory goes back to 1980 when we had like 3 foot of unheard of snow! And we Texans (obviously) don’t know how to drive on the roads. The 100 car pile up was awful. When I have a pathetic pity party, I remember the lives lost and others that have it worse. And I go back to my 2021 mantra – If not, God is still good.

  6. February 19, 2021 / 10:35 am

Cindy, the sun is shining today and we may get above freezing. I can see the snow melting. It’s a good day in Texas!! Happy to be linking up.

    • February 19, 2021 / 11:05 am

Yes it is! I was so grateful they stopped our rolling outages! Did you have those? Looking forward to not having to drip sinks tomorrow too. Fingers crossed!

  7. February 19, 2021 / 11:38 am

Happy your family is safe and doing okay. I feel horrible for TX. We are used to large snow storms in NJ but TX not so much. I’m praying for everyone.

    Thanks for hosting.

    Cindy

We are never “normal” around here – LOL. Even our weather is crazy from hour to hour. But things around the house and the weather are shaping up nicely! Thank you Michelle.
