Spread the love

Hello, my beautiful friends!  It’s time for Farmhouse Friday 432.  Welcome and thank you for the visit.  This week we’ve been holed up in our house, unable to get out of the driveway.  After 5 days, I had had enough!  I had the mister drive me to a friend’s house to play Mahjong.  I have a 4-wheel drive SUV, but he didn’t trust me to drive myself.  No worries!  That day, I didn’t mind a chauffeur.

If you missed the Pinterest Challenge this week, we had Valentine’s Day centerpiece ideas!  Click the link below to check them all out.  There were some really fun ideas.

This feature theme is turning out quite nicely!  If you are participating in the themes, ask yourself – Are you Team Cupid or Team That’s Stupid?  Why?  Because our theme this week is Valentine’s Day Ideas!  I can hardly wait to see what you link up!

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 432!

In case you didn’t remember, our theme last week was All Things White.  And boy, y’all did not disappoint!  Here are the features!

embossed hearts laying on a tableI have this on my list of to-do’s.  These vintage style tile hearts are so cute!  Cindy shared the How-To on DIY Beautify.  Pop over and see how she made and styled them on her tree!  Then you and I both will have adorable Valentine’s Day decor!

white bookshelf on side of cabinet Ann at Apple Street Cottage needed a cookbook rack and made this herself!  I seriously want this in my kitchen.  Stop by her blog and get the details.  It’s definitely PIN worthy!

white ceramic trees as a centerpiece on a tablescapeBeth from Whispers of the Heart created a winter snowy day tablescape.  You’ll want to check out the entire table.  The dishes are beautiful.  And if you live in SoCal, you should join her Tablescapers page!  How fun is that?!  You can find the information on her blog.

Thank you so much for featuring my cookbook rack, Cindy. Hope you’re staying warm!

Happy to do it Ann. You did a fantastic job! I need one of those… but maybe 4 times larger to hold them all. LOL! Sadly though, even with all of those great cookbooks, I still can’t cook. It’s annoying. I guess I need a chef. 🙂 Thank you for linking up.

Glad you were able to get out! We’re used to snow and ice here in NJ – and this last week was even tough for us! Thanks for hosting and enjoy your weekend!

We are wimps when it comes to snow and ice. Then add terrible drivers on top and it’s a disaster around here. A friend from Minnesota moved here a few years ago and said she was appalled that they don’t plow our streets. I literally laughed out loud. I don’t think Texas even owns a plow for streets! Stay warm!

Happy Friday, Cindy! So many lovely posts to explore this week! The milk glass collection reminds me of my mom’s pieces! They are treasures and never more so than now! Thanks, as always, for the party! Stay warm!

I love milk glass too and regret donating a lot that I got from my MIL. We just didn’t have anywhere to put it and now I see it in antique stores and want to buy it back! Ugh! Makes me sick and sad. Sad and sick! Thank you for linking up Laura. Enjoy your weekend.

    Cindy,
I do love the Winter but after 10 inches of snow and 1 degree this morning with no relief in sight till mid next week when we may hit 30, I am tired of it but I have been so busy in my house, “dabbling”! I did have to drive in snow all the time because hospitals don’t give snow days and I loved it as I knew how to drive in it but now that I am retired, I no longer have to!! So I do not..
    My Entries for today’s party are # 57, 58 and 59!!
Thanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are enjoying your week and you are doing well…
    Hugs,
    Deb

I would be a nervous wreck if I had to drive on ice all the time. It’s very rare for us to get snow and not ice. In plain words – Texans suck at driving on anything but dry land! Hope you enjoy your weekend and get all the dabbling done you want! 🙂

Cindy, we’re still under ice over here in WV, and hoping Mother Nature doesn’t gaslight us again this weekend. The forecast is like Lucy with Charlie Brown, constantly moving the football. We got slammed last week with the snow then freezing rain. I had the fireplace in the DR going nonstop in case the electric went out (it’s electronic ignition), but thankfully, we only lost cable and internet while neighbors had no power. I’m sharing a Forget Me Not valentine table #82. Its colors are calm and quiet, and the fire is warm.
    Have a great weekend.

I remember in 2021 when we had “Freezmagedon” with rolling blackouts. It was no fun! Power for one our, no power for four hours. That went on for days. We keep crossing our fingers that it doesn’t happen again. Hope you stay warm and your beautiful plants and bushes are okay outside. You always work so hard on it! Thank you for linking up. I’m looking forward to seeing it!

My pleasure Lora. Would you believe it was 70 today and will be most of next week?!
