Happy Spring friends! Life is still crazy for me and busier than I want to be. But I’ve done a couple of fun projects. Now to find the time to post them! Welcome to Farmhouse Friday 398. With the nice weather, I thought today’s theme would be fun. Our theme is Having a Porch Party!
When you have a porch, and you love to decorate, it’s hard not to make a porch cozy and cute. I do it even if it’s just the Mister and I spending time out there. That means I’ve done several porches over the years. Here’s one just in time for Memorial Day. I hope you find inspiration as you check it out below.

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 398!
Whether in the backyard or on the porch, take a peek at the features for today. We’ve got the place and the easy menu already planned out! Let’s go!
For a party, you have to figure out where you want to gather, right? Well Amy’s porch from A Day of Small Things has created a very cosy and inviting place to sit and chat. Both sides of her porch are lovely. Pop in and see for yourself.
Now for the menu! The first course can be an easy-to-handle salad in a jar! Lois at Walking On Sunshine has a fantastic recipe to get you started. Sounds delish and definitely worth the pin. Yum!
The main course for this party is from Kristy at Mommy Hates Cooking. I’m a terrible cook so this idea is getting me all kinds of excited. How have I never thought of it before?! Check out her Lipton Onion Soup mix burger recipe.
You can’t forget dessert! I know a lot of people don’t like coconut but this looks way too good to pass up. Hop over to Fat Dad Foodie to get the recipe. I bet your people will love it! I would!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 398 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse, nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We’d like to see linkups like: Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is, please link your posts only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM, CST on Monday.
- We aren’t requiring a link back to this party but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog so please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across social media accounts which includes the Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When linking to this party, you are permitting us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post is featured.
- Thank you friends. We can hardly wait to see what you’ve been up to!
These featured food posts have made me hungry! Thank you for the wonderful link party. I hope you have a great weekend!

I agree we should all get to have a big porch. But girl, you will not find me outside when it’s hot unless that porch came with air conditioning! 😉 Have a great weekend.
