Spread the love

Howdy Folks!  It’s time for Farmhouse Friday 306 and it’s almost Independence Day and Canada Day for my friends up there!  Are you excited?  We always try and see a fireworks show and around here, they give Disney a run for the money!  Especially with the Lee Greenwood song playing at just the right time for the big finally – Woohoo!

We had a Pinterest Challenge this week.  It was an “anything goes” post on flags.  All 14 were awesome but I had a 2-fer!  A put together a super easy tablescape and added a yummy dessert/fruit salad recipe.  I believe if you call it a salad it has less calories.  😉  Click here and check it out.

If you missed last week’s Farmhouse Friday 305, you’ll want to check it out.  There are sooooo many patriotic ideas over there.  Including several recipes that had my mouth watering!  Let’s take a look at some of those clever ideas.

Cindy, thank you so much for featuring my pressed flower vase. I just replaced the flowers in the vase with new ones. Fortunately, the pressed flowers won’t have to ever be replaced. Have a great day.

Thanks for hosting Cindy! I hope you have a blessed 4th of July! I didn’t realize the absolutely amazing fireworks that we have down here on the Gulf Coast due to the deep pockets of the casinos. We get to sit either on the beach or take a boat out to watch off the shore, and it’s spectacular. They go on for 30 minutes. or more. Glad you’re going to get to see a great show this week too! Hope you’ll come by & share on Crafty Creators Link Party. I’d love to see you there!

    • July 2, 2023 / 10:52 am

I had no idea y’alls fireworks were paid for by the casinos either. Wow! When we lived on the lake, we all got in our boats as well. Going back home in the dark with so many other boats was a little scary. The fireworks were shot off from the clubhouse marina. I nearly got hit several times with the empty pods/shells! That would not have been fun. Enjoy your time and thanks for the invite to the link party. Stay safe!
