Spread the love

Happy Day, friends, and welcome to Farmhouse Friday 458.  It’s officially September, which means it’s officially my birthday month!  Woohoo!  I mentioned last week I’d be sharing a few things about myself that you probably don’t know.  Of course, you could read some things on the About Me Page, but I’m going to mention things that aren’t listed there.

Number One:  When I was barely 3 years old, I was stung by more than 30 wasps.  Thank the Lord, I wasn’t allergic.  That must have been terrifying for my mom.  Of course I have no recollection of it.

Number Two:  At about 4 years old, I stuck a car key into a wall plug.  Ouch.  But don’t most kids do that?  I’m going with yes.  Or I could say Mom should have kept a better eye on me.  LOL.

Number Three:  When I was in first grade, my parents were called to the Principal’s office after school.  I was in trouble for washing my hands too much.  And for helping others finish their work.  Come on, people, really?  At least I was clean and helpful.

Our theme this week and what you should be posting for a feature is… All things pumpkin!

Ferns and other greens in a planter with white pumpkins tucked inside the foliageIn my opinion, this is one of the cutest ways to elevate a planter and display pumpkins!  Check out the rest of Michelle’s small porch decorating ideas at Thistle Key Lane.  So classy.
