Howdy folks! Welcome to Farmhouse Friday 425.
How was Thanksgiving Day? I hope you felt loved, were appreciated, and laughed until your cheeks hurt.
I’m excited about the coming days. Advent begins Sunday, Nov. 30th. If you haven’t heard of Advent, it’s a Christian season of preparation as we celebrate the joyful anticipation that occurs in the four weeks leading up to Christmas.
As we walk through Advent, we reflect on the coming of Jesus Christ, our Savior. It’s a time of faith, hope, joy and peace.

I admire those of you who have already started their Christmas shopping! ANd for those who have already finished, you get a standing ovation. Y’all are amazing. If you’d like to see several gift wrapping ideas, here’s a Pinterest Challenge that was fun, and a big hit around here.
5 Christmas Gift Ideas With a Vintage Touch
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 425
Our theme this week is Christmas DIY’s! You will love these features. Check them out below!
Julie from My Wee Abode shares her DIY for no-mess faux sugar coated fruit. These are always popular at Christmas time and will look beautiful in your home.
MaryJo at Masterpieces of My Life made the cutest pearl loopy yarn tree for Christmas. Just think of all the colors you could use. So fun!
Jennifer at Studio 27 creates faux food. I actually thought this was the real deal until I read the title of the post. I can see this alone or in a gingerbread village! So cute!
Cindy at DIY Beautify is always crafting. This time she created jadeite looking ornaments! They looks so pretty! I’d love some of these for my home. Hop on over to get the details.

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 425 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse, nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We’d like to see linkups like – Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is; please link your posts only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM CST on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM CST on Monday.
- We aren’t requiring a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog, so please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across social media accounts, which includes the Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When linking to this party, you are permitting us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc., with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post is featured.
- Thank you, friends. We can hardly wait to see what you’ve been up to!

Cindy, thank you for hosting. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Wishing you beautiful days ahead. Take care.

Really cute crafts!
The late Thankagiving is making it really hard for me to get my act together for Chriatmas! I may end up not decorating my tree, I dont know. But I’m enjoying what I have done, so that’s good enough! Enjoy the crazy weekend. Remember, if you stay home and dont shop, you can save 100%!

I love a naked tree with lights. It gives me the same wonderful Christmas vibes as a decorated tree. Enjoy the season and don’t stress or overdo it! Thanks for the visit Rita. Merry Christmas!
