Happy September, friends. Thank you for joining me on Farmhouse Friday 414. Are the leaves beginning to turn where you live? We’ve had cooler days, but we won’t see any leaves changing for a while. During our trip a couple of weeks ago, we were excited to see several trees already turning in MI and KY. All I can say about that is, I’m jealous.
Even though we celebrated our anniversary on the 5th, it’s still my birthday month, and I always squeeze the most out of the other 29 days. That’s my way of telling you I’m on a girls’ trip this week and I had no chance to write a second post. 😉
And speaking of birthdays, my favorite dessert is white (almond) wedding cake. If I were stuck on an island and had to eat one thing everyday, it would be that cake. If the powers that be made me choose something to prolong my life, it wouldn’t be steak, although that’s what I’d prefer, it would have to be tacos. Why tacos? Because they are crunchy, have meat, veggies, and dairy. Do you think I’ve given that way too much thought? Possibly.

I think the color green is a neutral and has a shade that goes with everything. So when I saw Sandra’s post on Dinner at Eight, I thought it looked lovely! Hop on over and see how she worked her magic. And don’t forget to pin it!
Beth, over at Whispers of the Heart, created a sweet tablescape with scarecrows and coordinating colors. She’s been waiting years to do this, so check out her new pieces. It’ll give you fun vibes and possibly a hayride hankering.
Anything that involves vintage dishes, and I’m all in. The beautiful mix from Lynne at Thrifting Wonderland was quite lovely. You’ll want to scoot over and see her full welcoming fall table. So pretty.
Have you ever wanted to try a woodsy, earthy table setting? Well Michele at Vintage Home Designs has created one that’s giving us all the fall feels. I wanted to jump right in, have a seat in front of the transferware, and start chatting about fire pits and the newest Hallmark movie. Definitely pin worthy.
