Spread the love

Welcome to Farmhouse Friday 413.  How have you been?  It’s been a busy week around here.  Our weekly women’s Bible study started, as did home group.  Plus, the Mister and I celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary.  I mentioned last week that I needed to get out more.  Well, some friends joined us at a restaurant that served shmancy meats.  Have you ever been?  If you don’t turn your card over to the red side, they’ll just keep coming with different meats.  I had never been.  I was told ahead of time not to eat the sides or load up my plate at the salad bar.  I was to save it all for the meat.  LOL!  I had things I had never tried before.

I liked it, but would have been just as happy with a less expensive steak.  But everyone should try it.  The waiters also brought around bite sized pieces of grilled cheese and poured honey on top.  That turned out to be a favorite.  We all decided we’d like to try doing that at home.  So now I’m looking for a reason to have another get-together.  ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’d appreciate a visit if you haven’t already seen my post from earlier this week.  Even with all that was going on, I had time to transition my cubby shelf over to fall.  I will always make time for changing things up.  The Mister has mentioned he was afraid to leave the bed at night, fearing he might trip over something I had moved while he was sleeping.  He’s not wrong.  lol.

Cindy thank you for having us in again this week. I’ve got open tabs right now on some of these features, and LOVED your Autumn Bookshelves post. Happy Anniversary to you! 33 years, way to go! Was your restaurant what’s called a Brazilian steakhouse? We have one that sounds as you described it. I’ve never eaten there, but my gf and her hubby love it.
Happy to be joining this time, sharing an early fall table and a real life adventures post. Have a great weekend!

I’m excited to read you post Rita. We all need real life adventures! And yes, the restaurant was like a Brazilian Steak House. They even had guys that came around and scraped the crumbs! So Shmancy. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you Debbie. The restaurant is also known as a Brazilian Steak House. Try and find one some day if you’re a carnivore like us. It’s expensive but worth the experience at least once. Thanks for linking up. I always appreciate you too.

Happy anniversary! We’ll celebrate 31 years this year. The meats restaurant sounds fun. Reminds me of a Brazilian steakhouse, except the cheese and honey. Sounds like a fun time. Thank you for hosting this linkup. I’m happy to have found it and I’ve shared two links. Off now to see what others have shared and leave a little comment love. Have a great week!
