Spread the love

Howdy Folks!  Thank you for visiting Farmhouse Friday 401.  How was your long weekend?  Did you spend it with Memorial Day in mind?  I always love the big flag hanging in front of our house.  It looks great at night as well with its suggested illumination.  I found a couple of must-haves while antiquing and the guys found themselves a little sunburned from spending the day on the lake.  I definitely got the better deal last weekend.

If you missed my earlier post, I’d love for you to read it and help define my style.  I get asked all the time what I call it and honestly have no clue how to answer.  You’d be doing me a huge favor and a great service!

Aww, I’m so glad! Thank YOU for linking up your oh-so-fun flag craft. I hope to get to Hobby Lobby this weekend and find some cute fabric so I can try it out. Wish I had a stash of scraps but I have none! Happy Friday friend.

Cindy, I’m not big on labels when it comes to decor because many styles overlap and the names seem to change so often, but we share an affection for a touch of whimsy in our collected decor–so I love your style! Thanks for featuring my birdbath fountain refresh!

I hadn’t thought of the style names changing or that so many overlap but you are completely correct! Thanks for that and I was happy to feature your birdbath. It’s on my list of things to do! Our horse decided to scratch his neck on it and knocked it over. It’s our fault for letting them in the front yard, but now the stand/base has a huge crack in it. Hoping I can turn it into something beautiful like yours. Thanks for the inspo!

I was just going to make some scrap fabric flags; Michelle’s are so stinkin’ adorable! Glad to hear you had a great long weekend! Thanks for hosting, Cindy:)

Yours will be just as adorable as Michelle’s! I am trying to get to Hobby Lobby to find some fabric. I have no scraps. :/
