Happy Fall Y’all, and welcome to Farmhouse Friday 463. We’ve been staying at the farmhouse, and the weather is still hot and muggy. Bleh. I’m looking forward to the 3.5-hour drive back home to more pleasant weather. How about you? Are the leaves turning into beautiful colors where you are? If so, please share where you live in the comments below. If it’s not too far away, I’d love to fly or drive out for a visit and a quick peek at God’s goodness.

With the weather finally changing, our theme for this week and what you’ll post this weekend for a possible feature is… Fall Decorating Ideas!

I didn’t have a soup last week to share, but I do have a fantabulous idea for an easy showstopper cake! You can check it out by clicking here. The top and sides look so much better! Let me know what you think. Will you try it, or have you done it before? If so, what stencil or technique did you use? I’m always looking for an easy way to zhuzh up a cake.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 463
Have you ever heard of Creamy Southwestern Pumpkin Soup? I haven’t, but it sounds delicious! You can get the recipe from Carol at Bluesky at Home. And you know it’s going to be tasty since she was once a professional chef! Yum!
Here’s another soup I’ve never heard of, but I think it looks aaahhhmazing! Get this Crockpot Lasagna recipe from Raquel at Organized Island. It sounds perfect for a busy day when you want to come home to dinner already made!
Need the perfect soup for entertaining? MaryJo at Masterpieces of My Life has the perfect choice. It’s called Vichyssoise. Any party with her, served on those dishes, and I’m there! Make sure to hop over to find out why it has a “wow-factor”!
This hearty-looking fall dump-n-go soup comes from Kristy at Mommy Hates Cooking. Take it from me, a person who really does hate cooking; her recipes sound easy enough and yummy enough to maybe change my mind! You’ll find lots of other ideas on this page as well. Woohoo!
