Hello my beautiful readers. I hope you are snug as a bug in a rug this weekend. With the ice storm headed our way, the weatherman says the wind chill is going to be in the negative degrees! Y’all, it was 60 yesterday! We aren’t used to this.

Thank you to everyone who posted a winter-themed link. I loved each one! Even the ones you shared doing winter activities with the littles. Be sure to check out the features below. This week, the theme is to link up something white! Just think of all the things you could post – a blanket you made, a favorite vintage pillowcase, your grandma’s potato soup recipe, a beautiful white centerpiece idea, your favorite sweater, and even your ski trip. I’m sure you can find something white.
How To Use Everyday Decor To Create A Cozy Winter Home
I have finally put all the Christmas stuff away. That put me in a rearranging mood, so I moved the hutch from the entry to the dining room and decorated it for the winter season. I pushed myself to use only my everyday pieces. No leftover Christmas garland, etc. Click the link above to see it.
How To Use Old Windows And Doors When Decorating
Another post you may have missed was the Lifestyle of Love hop with a couple of my favorite people. We shared ideas using old windows and doors. If you love repurposing things, then you’ll definitely want to see that post.
Now for the WINTER THEMED FEATURES!
Julie from My Wee Abode shows some super cute ideas for winter decorating in the kitchen. I love that she added candles inside the galvanized houses.
Love the idea of milk glass and pinecones too. It’s like gazing out a window at snow and winter trees, which is very soothing to me. Check out MaryJo’s other pretty ideas at Masterpieces of My Life.
Has anyone else thought to use yarn balls for winter decor? It’s genius! Lora Bloomquist has several other fun and cozy ideas, so shimmy on over there and see for yourself!
This wreath makes me want a foot of snow on the ground! It’s gorgeous and perfect for winter door decor. Jamie from Anderson and Grant shares the steps to make one for yourself. Check it out and don’t forget to pin it for later!
Thank you, everyone for linking up and sharing your talents. Don’t forget – the theme this week is Something White! I’m really looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 431 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse, nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. However, it would be nice to see – Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is; please link your posts only once.
- The party runs 6 AM CST on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM CST on Monday.
- I don’t require a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog, so please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- Try to link up something that pertains to the weekly theme!
- By linking a post with the weekly theme, you have a chance to be featured here at next week’s party, which includes the Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When linking to this party, you are permitting us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc., with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post is featured.
- Thank you, friends. I can hardly wait to see what you’ve been up to!

Cindy, thank you for hosting. Stay warm and safe during this ice storm/cold weather. Take care.

Thanks so much for hosting each week, Cindy. I enjoyed your Blog on using windows and doors in your home. I have a window stashed in the garage. I’ll have to pull it out and see what I can do. LOL Have a great week and stay safe in the storm.

Aww, thank YOU for saying that. I try but I had many people get upset about it. I couldn’t understand why. I mentioned they could still link up whatever they wanted. :/
