Spread the love

Howdy Folks!  Welcome to Farmhouse Friday 430.  This is the week we begin linking up the theme I announced last week, which was ALL THINGS WINTER!  That means, to be featured, you’ll post a new or old WINTER THEMED LINK.

Yes, you can absolutely still link whatever you want.  My intention isn’t to hinder or stop you from having fun. Think about it, when people see any of the new link party posts, they’ll see what looks like a winter-themed blog hop of sorts.   Hopefully, you can see the potential and understand what’s going on with the new way of doing things.  I’m excited, and hope you are too.

Around here, we are still under construction in the main bathroom, which means the house is filthy.  I was able to remove the last of the Christmas ornaments on the third tree last night.  So today I’m crossing my fingers, hoping to find the time to put everything in the attic.  That should give me the boost I need to start getting the house back in order.  And maybe a little redesign to boot!  ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here are the features this week.  Can you guess the theme?  If you say snow, you’d be close.  ๐Ÿ˜‰

felt snowmen craftFirst up is Darcy from the Darcy and Brian blog.  These are so cute and should make the littles smile.  Pop over to get the details.  So fun!

blue and white dish with a frozen fruit cup and fork on topMissy from Sonata Home Design shared how she made these frozen fruit cups and also mentioned they were perfect for her sweet tooth.  It’s definitely worth checking out.

paper bag Olaf snow man

Sam from Simple Everyday Mom “Let it Go” one day (lol) and made a cute Olaf Puppet/paper craft.  I’m sure the littles would have fun creating one of these!  Check it out and pin for later!

Glass with frozen hot chocolate and drizzle on top.Have you ever seen a Frozen Hot Chocolate?  I have not but it sounds nice if you’re by the fire or not!  You can find the recipe from Raquel at Organized Island.  Check it out.  It looks yummy!

Next week’s features will be winter themed.  I hope you link up!

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 429 PARTY GUIDELINES:

  • Your style does not have to be farmhouse, nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up.  However, it would be nice to see – Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
  • It doesn’t matter how old your post is; please link your posts only once.
  • The party runs 6 AM CST on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM CST on Monday.
  • I don’t require a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks!  That’s mighty nice of you.
  • A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog, so please don’t post and run.  Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
  • Try and link up something that pertains to the weekly theme!
  • By linking a post with the weekly theme, you have a chance to be featured here at next week’s party, which includes the Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest
  • When linking to this party, you are permitting us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc., with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post is featured.

Hi Cindy! Thank you so much for sharing my frozen fruit cup recipe. I really appreciate it. It is definitely starting to feel a little “frozen” outdoors in Nebraska. Hope you are staying warm in Texas!

My pleasure Missy. It’s finally going to feel like winter tomorrow but then in a couple of days it’s back up in the 50’s – 60’s. I love it! Thanks for the visit. Have a great weekend.

Frozen! How fun, all of these features. I saved that Olaf craft for my Jacqueline. She LOVES Frozen. Maybe we should make some frozen hot chocolates for ourselves this coming Monday when she spends the day with me?!
Thanks for the party. I think the themes are fun.

Yes! Make a frozen drink with her. Sounds like fun! And thank you for saying you like the themes. It may be a coincidence, but the day I announced the new way of doing things, I had 6+ people unsubscribe. Hmmm. Have a great Monday!
