Hello there! Welcome to Farmhouse Friday 422. Can you believe it’s almost Thanksgiving?! I’m not sure if I should be in a panic or thrilled. Either way, it’s coming and I had better get on the ball.

Our trip to Queen Wilhelmina Lodge in Arkansas had the most beautiful weather. I’d describe it as the perfect sweater weather. We didn’t see a huge amount of fall leaves, but the ones we did see were gorgeous. Someone said next week will be THE week to see them in full color. If you’ve never been and are looking for a place to glamp. I’d highly recommend the lodge. They even have a restaurant inside.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 422
With the weather starting to cool down, the theme this week is Comfort Food. Grab a snack. You may get hungry looking at these delicious-sounding features.
If this doesn’t warm your insides, I’m not sure what will. Even if you don’t care for broccoli, this soup from Judy at Recipes Simple could change your mind. It looks so creamy and scrumptious. Pop over and pin for later!
Lois at Walking on Sunshine shares her recipe for her homemade Potato Soup. She says it tastes better than Panera Bread’s recipe! Say whaaat?! I’m in! Check it out.
Y’all, these soups are amazing. Look at this beef and veggie soup by Kristy at Mommy Hates Cooking. The color alone should make you want some! I feel a feast coming on.
Warm, homemade bread is definitely a comfort food. Gina from Yummi Haus calls them One Hour Disappearing Far Rolls. I’ll let you decide what that title means. I’m busy pinning and making a list of ingredients for the grocery store. Someone pass me a tissue for my drool.

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 422 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse, nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We’d like to see linkups like – Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is; please link your posts only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM CST on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM CST on Monday.
- We aren’t requiring a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog, so please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across social media accounts, which includes the Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When linking to this party, you are permitting us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc., with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post is featured.
- Thank you, friends. We can hardly wait to see what you’ve been up to!
Thanks for the party, Cindy, and for the many ways you support this community through your link up and comments! We’re sharing #33 today and, as always, happy to be here! Happy November!

Thanks for hosting the party! I can’t believe I’m “one of them” whose already posting Christmas content! I need to scroll through all the posts and find some good recipe ideas for my Thanksgiving dinner.

LOL Lynn, I’ll start my Christmas decorating tomorrow so I can be ready for the hop! Thank you for the visit.
Cindy, glad your trip at least brought on swetarr weather. We did a day trip 2 weeks ago here in WV, but I swear, this week has been the peak color, later than usual. It’s downhill from here.
Kristy’s veggie and beef soup looks great. I made a beef stew last weekend (my usual recipe) and it was awful. I think I need a new recipe!
My family will be sharing a sort of Thanksgiving meal early this week coming. Sadly, it”ll be a reminder that every day’s a gift. I set a table with those thoughts. Thanks for the party.

I agree – everyday is a gift. My mom will have her double mascectomy surgery on Monday. Hope your Thanksgiving is a happy one. Thanks for the visit Rita. I still have your email opened to remind me to visit.
